FWA Conservation is a specialist division of the Fairhurst Ward Abbotts Group where the focus is on the conservation, restoration, refurbishment, conversion and extension of historic and ecclesiastical buildings and monuments.
Our professional and experienced management team alongside the ‘in-house’ resource of directly employed craftspeople and conservators, combined with our apprenticeship programme, truly appreciate the importance of our built heritage and environment. This approach incorporates an extensive skills and knowledge base employing well established building and conservation techniques.
Over the years we have worked in a variety of environments such as Cathedrals, Churches, Country Estates, Historic Premises, Parks and Period Homes and Heritage Properties. Due to this depth of knowledge and experience, we can act as principal contractor or specialist contractor, working directly for clients, offering project management and turnkey solutions for large or small restoration, refurbishment and conservation projects.
