This striking memorial commemorates the members of the regiment who fell during the two Great Wars. The tall granite column rising from the base is surmounted by a bronze winged figure of Victory, and in support at the sides of the base are the bronze figures of an Officer and a Private.
The bronze figures had wax and lanolin layers removed using steam pressure equipment and voids in the bronze repaired, then painted and coated with a specialist wax blend.
The monument has been beautifully restored along with others in the Park to great acclaim.
